Succumb to the darkness...
Robert Eggers' Nosferatu is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake. Eggers' interpretation of this tale focuses on "Gothic Romanticism" in its production style as opposed to F.W. Murnau's "German Expressionism" from the original 1922 film. Eggers chose to shift focus to Count Orlok's (Bill Skarsgard) obsession with Ellen Hutter, played by Lily-Rose Depp in a career-defining turn. NOSFERATU is on the short list for Best Picture Oscar Nominations.
